Said to be in the second sunniest area of France (microclimate), La Cabane in the commune of Breville is easy to get to.

Fly to:
La Rochelle - just over an hour away from us.
Bordeaux - an hour and a half.
Potiers - two hours and Limoges, three.

Drive from the channel ports:
St Malo - the nearest, four hours.
Caen - five hours and lots of new easy roads.
Cherbourg, Dieppe...




Right on the border of the 16 and 17 departements, we have hot sunny summers, warm springs and autumns and even the winter
is shorter than in many other areas with temperatures virtually always several degrees higher than in UK.

We are not difficult to get to but far enough south so that the roof tiles and vegetation give a different, slightly more
exotic atmosphere.



Snow is really rare but the clear blue skies in winter are common.
